Welcome to Wynberg Lawn Tennis Club.

It is my pleasure to welcome you to one of Cape Town's oldest and most welcoming tennis clubs. Since our founding in 1881, Wynberg Lawn Tennis Club has been a place where people come together to enjoy great tennis, build lasting friendships and be part of a vibrant community.

Whether you're an experienced league player, returning to the game after many years, or picking up a racket for the very first time, you'll find a place here. Our members range from competitive players striving for success on the court to social players who simply enjoy the game and the camaraderie that comes with it.

At WLTC, we believe tennis should be accessible, enjoyable and inclusive. We pride ourselves on fostering a friendly atmosphere where new members are welcomed, lifelong friendships are formed and players of all ages and abilities are encouraged to participate.

Throughout the year, we host league tennis, club championships, social events, coaching programmes and regular social tennis, providing opportunities for everyone to get involved both on and off the court.

As custodians of a club with over 140 years of history, we remain committed to preserving its rich heritage while continually investing in its future. Our vision is to ensure that Wynberg Lawn Tennis Club continues to thrive as a place where future generations can experience the same sense of belonging and enjoyment that our members value today.
